Avenue Pe is a typeface under construction that utilizes "soft geometric modeling." That's a fancy way of saying that I intend this to be a Sans Serif Geometric typeface, but to contruct its posture to soften all corners that are not 90 degree angles.

Love this quote from Jan Tschichold. Playing around with various linear arrangements in black and white, this maxim of design is like a proverb, (or Psalm), that I constantly require to hammer in to myself lest I begin trafficking in add-on details, trendy baubles, and tipsy reveling.

This is my first job assignment and the type crimes are atrocious. Typography I, a course taught at our award-winning Graphic Design department opened my eyes. Whether in Fine Art or Graphic Design, keeping the first "turkey" is essential because it reminds one of things: how far you've come, how far you have yet to go, and that you didn't accept it but took action to move forward.
